iGO My way iPhone GPS
NNG Global Services has introduced a GPS iPhone app, iGO My way. The software is used to navigate to and from locations anywhere in North America. One a single satellite signal is claimed to be required for proper function, while a 3D terrain map can be used to visualize the location of major landmarks. A cellular signal is not necessary, as the maps are stored directly on the device.
The app is also available in versions that detail Western Europe and the whole of Europe. The software includes free quarterly updates until 2010 and voice guidance available in English and French, along with Spanish in both American and Mexican dialects. The European versions of the application feature 29 languages, including those with Cyrillic and Greek characters.
The North American version of iGO My way is available from the App Store for $80. The Western Europe edition costs $90, while the variant covering all of Europe can be purchased for $120.

Single satellite--Not

This remark struck me as dubious: "One a single satellite signal is claimed to be required for proper function,"
If IGO MyWay can locate someone on earth from a single GPS satellite, the USAF and NASA would love to hear from them. GPS takes three satellites for a fix, more for accuracy. I checked their website at:

as well as the information at the App Store and saw nothing about this claim.
Its real claim to fame is that it doesn't need a cellular/Internet connection to get maps. All the maps are stored on your iPhone. That and the user interface/turn-by directions are why it's getting rave reviews.
And when you realize that you're getting the maps, that $80 price isn't bad at all. Garmin and TomTom sell maps alone for more than that. It does require a lot of space on your iPhone though. It's almost a gig download.

Inkling: that remark is part of Nav N Go's official press release. They don't mention it in every language, but they do mention it here:
