fmDataGuard 2.0 improves speed, adds log reflection

fmDataGuard 2.0 ships
WorldSync is now shipping fmDataGuard 2.0, with configurations providing anywhere from a 50-200 percent speed jump. fmDataGuard uses FileMaker Pro software for regulatory audit trail compliance, logging all data views and changes and provides instant data rollback. It also offers quick recovery from a crash or corrupted files. fmDataGuard 2.0 works with the audit log requirements for regulatory mandates like Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and Gramm-Leach-Bliley, among others.
In addition to the speed improvements, version 2.0 adds a Log Reflection feature that calls up log info when a user hovers over a field. fmDataGuard 2.0 has added a new differencing engine that shows changes between versions of a field, in a manner similar to the 'track changes' feature in a word processor. Version 2.0 tracks changes using a small file of data, backing the information up to a larger file only once per week, eliminating the previous twice-daily back-up requirements.
fmDataGuard 2.0 requires FileMaker Pro 8.5 or higher and FileMaker Server 8.0v4 or higher. It costs $150 per seat, $1250 for a server license and a vertical application license is $1850.
