Simgua 3.0 ships

Your Lingua has launched Simgua 3.0, updating the simulation and modeling software with macros, arrays and risk assessment. Based on open-source algorithms, the program allows users to simulate complex systems and represent results using visual models. The new macros in v3.0 allow users to design scripts both for analysis and automating repetitive tasks.

Simgua 3.0's arrays add depth to models, duplicating them while using specific parameters for each subject. The new risk assessment tool applies standard, probabilistic methods to assessing risk in system dynamics models. This aids a user's ability to perform cost-benefit analysis.

Simgua requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. It typically costs $860, though educational licenses are available for $64. A 20 percent back-to-school discount is available through September 15th.
