iTimer camera, OffMaps

  • WriteRoom ($5) can be used to write and organize notes. The software uses a simple black and white interface and includes support for both landscape and portrait keyboards. WriteRoom also features the ability to share files over a WiFi connection and sync files to WriteRoom.ws. The WriteRoom syncing feature is still considered a beta and is not recommended for sensitive data as security is relatively light.

  • Steel Guitar ($1) is a steel guitar simulation which takes advantage of the iPhone's touch screen interface. The application includes four variations of the instrument including standard lap steel, eight-string, Nashville, and Texas. Each variation can also be played using one of four tones, clean, tweed, tolex, and brit.

  • Daily Tracker ($1) is a personal organizer that allows users to store notes and track different activities. The application includes several built-in categories but also allows users to create their own. Daily Tracker provides a calendar view along with daily, weekly, monthly and yearly summaries. A search feature has also been integrated for quickly finding specific notes and data can be exported with an email in the CSV file format. The latest update includes the ability to add RSS Feeds to user defined lists and to change between themes by shaking the device.

  • iTimer Camera ($3) allows users to take pictures after a timed interval. The interval is customizable and can be set up to take a single delayed shot or a sequence of images. The application also includes a party mode which takes images at random time intervals. Sounds signals have also been included to let people know when the picture is being taken.

  • OffMaps ($3) allows users to store maps on their handheld and access them even when an internet connection is not present. The application does not store one pre-determined set of maps but instead allows users to choose the ones they want to download and store on their device. OffMaps uses OpenStreetMaps which include additional information such as ATM locations, bus stops, restaurants, and more.
