67th St. NYC Apple Store expected to open in November

67th St NYC Apple Store

The upcoming Apple Store located on 67th Street and Broadway in NYC is expected to be completed before Thanksgiving, a construction worker told the Westside Independent. A separate source in the investment community also claims Apple is already working on staffing the location, as several employees in surrounding stores have allegedly been offered managerial positions.

The investment source suggests the 67th Street store will utilize approximately 100 employees, roughly on-par with the SoHo location. The building is being erected on a plot of land previously home to a Victoria's Secret store and Cineplex Odeon Regency Theater.

The company has not yet formally announced the new store, while current online job listings also lack positions for the location. The 67th Street establishment will mark Apple's fifth outlet in NYC. Others include the flagship Fifth Avenue store, SoHo, 14th Street and Staten Island.
