GWR iPhone world record

Guinness World Records and Warner Brothers Digital Distribution has announced that the player with the most points achieved in the new Guinness World Records app "Video Game Score" challenge will be awarded a Guinness World Record. The winner will also be added to the shortlist to be included in the Guinness World Records 2010 Gamer's Edition. Users must be registered with GameSpy in order to remotely submit their scores in the competition.

The iPhone and iPod touch app includes 36 mini-games based on real life world records. The Guinness World Records game was developed by TT Games and released in late June. The contest leader board is available on the Guinness World Records game website. The game can be purchased from the App Store for $5.
