Super Laser Racing
New Star Games has launched Super Laser Racing, a combat racing game that takes place in outer geometric space. Players control a small spaceship as they race on 12 different tracks, and throughout four tournaments. Each level contains a variety of weapons, such as bombs, cannons, lasers, mines, missiles and plasma guns. New racers and ships can be unlocked over time.
Eliminator and Survival modes are present, and gamers also have access to a track editor for designing custom circuits. Online leaderboards let people compare scores and compete for the highest ranking. The game is compatible with both Mac and Windows, and is available in a full version for $10 or as a free demo.
