Boris Continuum Unit ships
Boris FX has released its latest set of effects, Boris Continuum Unit: Cartoon Look, based on Continuum Complete 6. The suite includes a number of video filters such as Cartoon Look, Pencil Sketch, Charcoal Sketch, and Watercolor. Cartoon Look simulates the effect utilized in films such as "A Scanner Darkly" and "Waking Life." The filter includes preset looks and styles that are accessible through a pop-up menu. Users can also customize the settings, save their own configurations or combine multiple effects.
The Pencil Sketch filter recreates the look of hand-drawn sketches, while the Charcoal Sketch recreates the painterly look of a charcoal-drawn image. To create images that look to have been painted, the Watercolor filter can be used to change the color and weight of the contour edges to reach the desired look.
Cartoon Look supports Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Final Cut Express. The package is available from the Boris FX website.

Forever I have searched
I've been looking for something that does this for ages.
I downloaded the product and loved every bit of it.
What sold me though was not just the fact my years of searching were over but because the developer took the time out to contact me and see what I thought.
Each e-mail conversation drove me closer and closer to purchasing and once I get the money this will become part of my repertoire.
