LittleSnapper update
Realmac has released LittleSnapper 1.5, an update to its utility for capturing screenshots. The latest version integrates a new capture engine for improved full-screen, area and window shots. Users can now snap multiple windows, while the software automatically merges each image into one file.
The user interface has been revamped with a tag management HUD, tag auto-completion and a new sidebar selection for browsing by the type of image. Users can now store Photoshop documents in the LittleSnapper library, or export content to the company's Ember sharing service.
The software allows users to take pictures of the desktop, including multiple displays, or save entire web pages. A built-in browser also enables specific elements to be captured from each web page. Users can add non-destructive annotations such as text, callouts, shapes, blurs and highlighting.
LittleSnapper 1.5 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and can be purchased for $24 with a single-user license. A five-license studio pack carries a price of $100.
