Vocabulary Assistant ships


Sona has released its newest application, Vocabulary Assistant, which offers tools to help users learn various languages. The application features several activities including multiple choice, dictation, flash cards and slideshows. Vocabulary Assistant also provides example sentences and notes, designed to add context to difficult words. Images and sound clips are also displayed to aid the .

Other learning activities include matching tiles, recording studio, scrambled words, list reviews and quizzes. The program additionally links to websites, YouTube, and podcasts that can assist in learning.

Sona Vocabulary Assistant requires Max OS X 10.2.7 or higher and is available from the Sona Software website. The application costs $30, or $25 for an academic license.
