Metterform Media has released v2.0 of Yank, a utility used to uninstall applications and their support files regardless of how the initial installation method. The latest version includes an auto-launch feature that automatically starts the application every time the installer program is used. The update also boasts compatibility with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, due out in September.

The software avoids complications when uninstalling other programs because it runs during the installation process, tracking the file system from the beginning.

Yank 2.0 is available from the Matterform Media online store for $20. Registered users who purchased v1.0 after September 1st, 2008 are eligible for a free upgrade, while other licensed users can upgrade for $12.
