  • The Big Mean Folder Machine 2.0 ($15) is a tool for merging files and folders from several locations into one folder. Users can choose from different sorting options such as, sorting a set number of files into folders, organizing files into folders of a set file size, organizing files into folders alphabetically, and more. The v2.0 release features a re-designed interface, improved droplet automation, file name conflict resolution, automated software updates, and improved overall performance. [Download - 2.2MB]

  • ReelBean 4.3 ($15) can be used to convert movies to Apple TV, video iPod MPEG4, H.264, AVI and other formats. The software also includes several media playback features that allow users to view media files within the application. New dialog windows have been added for the Jon and Split movie features and some minor bugs have been fixed in this release. [Download - 6.5MB]

  • CDFinder 5.6.1 ($39) catalogs photos, music and other files kept on any sort of connected storage, including hard disks, DVD drives and server volumes. The latest release now has support for movie files and is said to include speed improvements when cataloging. The update has added support for cataloging Elgato EyeTV recordings and now uses the street-level OpenStreetMap for the GPS search when an internet connection is available. The update also includes new CoverPrint templates and will now open iPhoto related search results in iPhoto. [Download - 8.3MB]

  • OggQuicklook 1.0 (free) allows users to preview Ogg audio files from directly within the Finder. After selecting an Ogg file in the Finder a custom hot-key can be used to start and stop the audio preview. The application runs in the background but does not send any processes to the CPU unless it is triggered with the hot-key. [Download - 0.58MB]

  • EarthBrowser 3.2 ($20) tracks the latest weather, tropical storms, earthquakes, webcams and more in a live 3D model of the earth. The earth simulation, which also features a screen saver module, combines a 3D globe with realtime weather conditions and 7 day forecasts for thousands of locations worldwide. Version 3.2 includes a new custom satellites feature which can be used to search for an display more than 10,000 different orbiting objects. The update also includes several translation corrections and overall performance improvements. [Download - 25.6MB]
