Churchill Square store
The first Apple Store to launch in Brighton, England will throw open its doors on July 25th at 10AM, Apple has announced. The shop is located within the Upper Mall at Churchill Square, and has been a long time in coming, as the first job openings are said to have been advertised two years ago. Store hours are set from 9AM to 6PM between Monday and Wednesday, 9AM to 8PM on Thursday, and 9AM to 7PM on Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours are 11AM to 5PM.
Churchill Square has suffered serious hits to its businesses in recent months, losing Currys Digital, and the DVD chain Zavvi. Brighton's city center manager, Soozie Campbell, insists that the area remains popular. "Churchill Square has been resilient and not really suffered in terms of footfall compared with the national average," she comments. "The vacancy rate is lower than it has ever been." If the store is successful however, it may harm local Apple resellers.

The two local shops to suffer, Cancom and Solutions, are both not big shops but are part of larger businesses. Cancom I believe have a chain of stores, no idea how many. Solutions seem to do a lot of services for local businesses (I think print/media related).
Personally I had my CV in 2 years ago but got sick when interviews began - was gutted, but actually now I don't fancy working in Churchill Square or any retail role.
