  • MacVide 3gp Converter 2.7 ($20) allows the conversion of most popular video files to 3gp mobile video. The software also allows users to customize different options including the bit rate, frame rate, resolution, and cropping. Version 2.7 has added several new watermarks that can be overlaid on top of videos along with a series of bug fixes. [Download - 10.5MB]

  • SongGenie 1.2 ($30) is a tool that can analyze, detect and label music data. The software automatically searches a computer for music tracks, and creates an acoustic fingerprint for each one. As each song is logged, it keeps track of any incomplete or incorrect album, artist and song title information. In version 1.2 the code has been updated to add compatibility with Snow Leopard and improve system resource use. A Simplified Chinese translation has also been made available in the new version.   • DutyWatch 1.3 ($100) is a tool for monitoring how employees are using their computers. The software includes tools for recording keystrokes, tracking web browsing, logging chats and emails, and taking screenshots at specified times. DutyWatch runs silently in the background and can be set up to send out alerts whenever a defined keyword is used. The latest release focuses on cleaning up some of the bugs in the software and includes fixes for the sleep error, screenshot error, and other small problems. [Download - 26.5MB]

  • Watchmac 1.4 ($15) monitors a Mac for possible security infringements. For example, when someone tries to unlock the screensaver but enters an incorrect password this will be recorded, and the software can use an iSight camera to take a picture and then send users an email with the information. The latest release includes a rewritten iSight handler which should be more reliable and take more snapshots. The update has also improved the infringement reactions and options configuration panes as well as merged the authentication and advanced preferences pages. [Download - 2.6MB]

  • Calories 1.4 ($21) is a nutrition tracking and analysis utility for Mac OS X. The application allows users to select foods from the applications database and then sort them into breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack categories. Version 1.4 has added the option to search for ingredients and allows users to combine multiple search criteria into one search. The Nutrition panel has also been updated and now highlights nutrition information that was included in a search. [Download - 26.2MB]
