Thurly plug-in released
Elixir has released a plug-in for the Apple Safari Internet browser, Thurly. The plug-in is used to shorten URLs and post them on Twitter from within Safari. Using a keyboard shortcut, Thurly automatically shortens the URL of the webpage currently open. Thurly can post the URL directly to the users Twitter account using another keyboard shortcut or by clicking the Tweet button added to the browser window.
Users can purchase a fuller version of the plug-in that includes access to multiple Twitter accounts and use of a Twitter template. The template allows users to set a default message in their Twitter Status field whenever Thurly is opened.
Both versions of the plug-in can be downloaded from the Thurly website. A single license of the fuller version can be purchased for $5 and five licenses cost $12.
