  • CyberDuck 3.2.1 (free) is an open source FTP and SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer) browser licensed under the GPL. The application features integration with external editors, as well as support for many Mac OS X system technologies such as Spotlight, Bonjour, the Keychain, and AppleScript. Features added to the new release include: the ability to create placeholder objects, the option to enable Bucket Access Logging and CloudFront Access Logging, an updated Info window, and more. The update also features several bug fixes including one related to failed MobileMe iDisk upload failures. [Download - 12.7MB]

  • BravoTunes 1.1 (free) allows users to access iTunes commands from their menubar. The application displays scrolling track information for the current track and upcoming tracks. Users can select from different fonts to use and which information to display. It also provides controls for pausing music, switching tracks or adjusting shuffle and repeat settings. The latest update has added the ability to hide the BravoTunes icon from the Dock along with the option to disable scrolling. [Download - 0.4MB]

  • KaraTunes 3.2 ($13) is an add-on for iTunes which allows users to place all of their lyrics into a single database which can then be saved, modified and searched. Users can search the LyricTracker database and upload lyrics to their iPod. Version 3.2 includes support for the LyricWiki online database and also features a more compact Now Playing window. Several bugs have also been addressed. [Download - 10.5MB]

  • Sonar 2.0 ($18) is a disk utility which reports any changes made to a hard drive. While the software is running users are alerted of any changes made to a drives file structure. This can be used to see if an application is installing additional spyware or by developers to help optimize their softwares disk usage. The latest release has added compatibility for Mac OS X 10.5 and is expected to allow the software to run in OS X 10.6 as well. [Download - 6.6MB]

  • AudioLobe 3.92 ($20) allows users to alter the playback speed and pitch rate of audio files, which can be helpful when attempting to learn a difficult section of a song. AudioLobe allows users to save the altered files meaning users can keep copies of tracks for practicing along with. A bug related to the configuration of the audio level indicators panel has been fixed in this release. The Info panel has also received a small visual tweak to improve readability.
