iFM Radio Browser released

Griffin has announced the iFM Radio Browser, an iPhone application to accompany its recently-released Griffin Navigate FM transmitter. The application enables the iPhone to interact with FM radio, while listing artist information playing on the chosen station. iFM Radio Browser provides song titles, albums, the artists biography, and upcoming concert dates. iFM Radio Browser also provides iTunes links, enabling users to purchase each song or place the content on a wish list.

To help quickly choose which station to listen to, faster than scanning through the radio, users can also browse which songs are playing on each station in the area. The application directly controls the Griffin Navigate FM transmitter, allowing the user to tune the radio station from within the application.

iFM Radio Browser requires the iPhone 3.0 firmware and is available from the App Store for free. The Griffin Navigate FM transmitter can be purchased from the Griffin online store for $60.
