Canadian AccountEdge ships
Acclivity has released a Canadian version of MYOB's AccountEdge after an eight year absence. The application is used to calculate and analyze a businesses important financial data, handle money transfers, and generate financial statements. The Canadian version of AccountEdge includes an enhanced command center interface that includes the Task List, a sliding drawer for regularly used windows and reports. The version also includes a Business Insights feature that provides users with trend-based information that can be used to analyze profits, turnover, and operating balances.
AccountEdge includes Address Book Syncing, iCal integration, refined Applescript capabilities and integration with Checkout and Daylite. The application additionally features a backup system that allows users to upload data to their MobileMe server.
Acclivity is planning to release a Windows-based version of AccountEdge for Canada in 2010. The company has also released a Canadian version of AccountEdge Network Edition, which includes mult-user networking abilities.
Both editions of the application are available from the Acclivity online store. AccountEdge costs $400 and AccountEdge Network Edition costs $550.
