3 versions of ASUS T91 due

A Monday report from ASUSTablet has the computer maker's UK arm reveal that there will be three versions of the Eee PC T91 netbook tablet. Aside from the standard model, called simply the T91, there will also be a version, the T91go with a 3G data network access, a GPS sensor and a digital DVB TV tuner. A third model will allow multi-touch inputs to its touchscreen, and this version is called the T91A. Whether this model will have the 3G, GPS and TV tuner as well is not yet known.

All three variations share the same 8.9-inch screen size and 1024x600 resolution. The T91A will be among the first netbooks to ship with Microsoft's Windows 7 and support its multi-touch interface. Like in the others, processing power comes from a 1.33GHz Intel Atom CPU and there is 1GB of RAM, upgradeable to 2GB. Other common features include a 16GB solid state drive and an included 16GB SD memory card, as well as 20GB of online storage offered free of charge for 18 months. All three also have a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection along with a 0.3-megapixel camera.

The T91 and T91A weigh 2.1lbs while the T91go is slightly heavier, at 2.2lbs. Color choices for the T91 netbooks include black or silver. The T91 and T91go include Windows XP. A lithium-polymer battery is said to provide 5.4 hours of computing power.

Pricing and release dates for the ASUS Eee PC T91 range in the UK or other markets are not yet known.
