OmniGraphSketcher
The Omni Group on Wednesday released OmniGraphSketcher 1.0, a program designed to help users build graphs for presentations. The tools combine data plotting capabilities of charting applications, but with a simple interface similar to a basic drawing program.
Users can add as many lines as needed to represent data, along with shaded areas or labels. Data can be entered visually using a single mouse click, or the content can be copied directly from a separate spreadsheet program.
When sketching rough ideas, the program automatically smooths curves for a professional appearance. Users can modify the graphs by clicking and dragging axes, data points, margins or labels. The final product can be saved in a variety of common image formats.
OmniGraphSketcher requires Mac OS X 10.5.6 and can be purchased for $30.
