  • Typinator 3.5 ($28) is a tool that will type out repeating texts and pictures. Users can set up a list of commonly used words and images, and then set up fragments that can be used trigger each phrase or image. Version 3.4 uses a new expansion technique which allows the software to operate faster than previous releases. The update also includes improved compatibility with XCode, BBEdit and TextWrangler, Eclipse and many Java applications. Additionally, several bugs have been fixed including one that could cause Typinator to forget its license information when synced with MobileMe. [Download - 2.7MB]

  • TinkerTool System 2.0 ($10) gives users access to additional system preference settings Apple has built into Mac OS X. This utility allows users to run the periodic system maintenance scripts at any time, reset the permission settings of Mac OS X files, clean up cache files of the Internet browsers, and more. The new release has been completely rewritten and includes an updated user interface. The software now follows Apple's latest security guidelines for system tools that use privileged operations. Several new security features have also been added including one which can help prevent the removal of caches during a cache troubleshooting procedure. [Download - 2.4MB]

  • TabExpose 2.0 ($10) is an add-on for Safari which allows users to view tabs in an Expose style. Users can access TabExpose through the use of a customizable keyboard shortcut or a button in Safari's address bar. The new release includes support for Spaces and improved for Mac OS X 10.5. The update also addresses several bugs and should now always return exposed tabs to their original state. [Download - 0.15MB]

  • Clipstart 1.1 ($29) gives users a place to import and organize home movies. The videos can be tagged, searched, trimmed, and uploaded to Flickr and Vimeo. Version 1.1 includes support for importing videos made on the iPhone 3GS and also includes options for uploading videos to YouTube. The update also makes it easier to move a library to a new location such as an external hard drive. Several bugs have also been fixed including one that could cause thumbnails to not display properly. [Download - 8.5MB]

  • Speed Download 5.2 ($25) is a download manager designed to be a unified hub for almost all downloading and file transfer activities. The program includes four different tools: a download manager with auto-resume, a secure FTP client, a file sharing utility with encryption, and a WebDAV access tool. Version 5.2 has been optimized for the latest version of Mac OS X Leopard and also includes changes to prepare the software for the transition to Snow Leopard. The update also includes several bug fixes and internal enhancements. [Download - 8.9MB]
