BB Tour at Bell, Alltel

After today's earlier news of the BlackBerry Tour smartphone coming to Verizon, two more sources have reported the device will soon be offered at another US provider, Alltel, as well as Canada's Bell. While no specifics are known about the Alltel release other than the photos that reveal Alltel branding on the phone, the Bell release of the new BlackBerry has been supported with more specific pricing details.

Bell will reportedly offer the Tour on July 17th, priced at nearly $700 CAD ($608) contract-free. An also leaked dealer sheet reveals contract prices will only be slightly lower, with a one-year contract dropping it to $650 ($564), two-year to $550 ($478) and three-year to $500 ($434). It's believed these don't include subsidies, however, which could bring the price down to $250.

The BlackBerry Tour 9630 features 3G network support, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 480x360 resolution screen sitting above the QWERTY keyboard. The handset is touted as a world phone for at least Bell through its dual-mode CDMA/GSM support. There is also an assisted GPS sensor working together with BlackBerry Maps for navigation, and shortcuts to popular social networks such as Facebook. [via BGR and CrackBerry]
