Aspyr Media has announced Call of Duty Deluxe Edition for the Mac is now available as a download through Aspyr`s digital distribution site. The Deluxe Edition contains the original Call of Duty first-person-shooter game; along with the expansion pack United Offensive. Call of Duty takes place during World War II where players fight against the Nazi`s in historic battles including D-Day, the Russian Charge at Stalingrad, and the battle for Berlin. The game features 24 single-player missions on four-interconnected campaigns, and comes with an online team-based multiplayer mode where players can join either the Axis or Allies.

As players progress through the levels in Call of Duty they can gain ranks and take on more dangerous missions such as sniper missions and ambushes, until they earn the rank of tank commander. The United Offensive expansion pack offers 13 additional single-player missions, 11 new multiplayer maps and three new multiplayer modes. During the missions players gain access to a variety of weapons including machine guns and flame throwers, while fighting in tanks, jeeps, motorcycles and a bomber. The expansion takes players through the Battle of the Bulge, the Battle of Kursk, and the invasion of Sicily.

Call of Duty the Deluxe Edition is available for download from gameagent.com, requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later and is priced at $30.
