iBank 3.5 released
IGG Software has released v3.5 of its flagship application, iBank. The software is designed to handle financial management of personal and small businesses. The update features over 30 enhancements and bug fixes, including the ability to sync the application with its iPhone counterpart, iBank Mobile, which is currently under review by the App Store. v3.5 also boasts faster operating speed, notably when using the search bar, and improved speed for entering transactions that are added to several Smart Accounts.
The update includes the ability to assign any dollar amount to split items in both the expense category and the income category, and a new preference pane used to control how statements gather transactions. iBank 3.5 features enhanced support for Neat Receipts and transfers between multiple currencies. The update also has the ability to reconcile both "sides" of a transfer independently.
Although the iPhone version of iBank is yet to be released, users can still sync iBank to their phones using MobileMe accounts. The new version allows the iPhone to sync via Wi-Fi and WebDAV servers.
iBank 3.5 requires Mac OS X 10.5 and can be purchased from the IGG Software online store for $60. Registered iBank 3 users can upgrade to the new version for free.
