Flick Fishing hits 1m

Freeverse has announced that its Flick Fishing game is the first paid app to surpass one million downloads from the App Store. The developer recently updated the software to take advantage of the networking abilities added with the new iPhone 3.0 firmware. Players can now compare catches or compete in Fish Jack tournaments.

The update also provides options for players to purchase access to new locations. Freeverse claims 10-percent of the users have been making the in-app purchases.

Flick Fishing is available from the App Store for $1. Other Flick Sports titles include NBA Basketball, Bowling, Top Gun and Postman.
