  • Floola 5.2 (free) is a utility that allows a user to manage their iPod or Motorola phone. Floola can copy, rename, delete music, videos and photos, add artwork and lyrics, manage playlists and keep podcasts up-to-date. It can also convert files like YouTube videos to a format that is compatible with the designated device. The new release includes a rewritten iPod notes manager and improved compatibility with iTunes 8.2. Several of the translations have also been updated including French, German, Italian, and Russian.   • Songbird 1.2 is an open-source music library with options for customization. The software currently includes features for importing an organizing a media library and allows users to customize the interface with different themes. Integration with the 7digital Music Store is also featured which allows users to purchase new music from within Songbird. Version 1.2 has introduced a new feature which can automatically import content purchased from the iTunes Music Store. The update also includes Last.fm Radio integration and a new 10-band equalizer.   • iTube 2.0 (free) can be used to collect a list of a users favorite YouTube videos. As users find new videos they can add them to their favorites list by copying the URL and providing a title and star rating. Videos can then be played from within the application, each in its own window. The new release has fixed a bug which could cause the software to crash and not reopen until after the computer is restarted. The update has also added a new introduction screen. [Download - 0.8MB]

  • ScreenCap 2.2 ($40) allows users to capture videos, single screenshots or timed screenshot series from their Mac desktop. The software can be defined to capture the whole screen or only a specific location. ScreenCap can also capture all the audio from the computer or be set to just record through the computers microphone. The 2.2 release includes several new advanced video capturing options and addresses several small bugs. [Download - 10.8MB]

  • ScreenSteps 2.6 ($40) can be used to create visual "how to" lessons. The software allows users to capture screenshots of specified areas which are then automatically imported into ScreenSteps. Users can then go back and add annotations and text to each picture in order to outline each step in the lesson. Lessons can be directly published to a website from within ScreenSteps or saved as a PDF or HTML file. The ability to embed internet videos has been added in the latest release along with the option to export to Word. [Download - 8.8MB]
