In brief: To celebrate Father's Day, XtraLean Software is currently offering 50-percent discounts on two of its software products. Until the end of the weekend customers can purchase ShutterBug and ImageWell for $20 and $10, respectively. TiBITS Publishing has announced the release of "Take Control of Safari 4," a book which explains some of the new features in the latest iteration of the Safari browser. Deskology has announced that it will be relaunching its DESKSET accessory kit which features several pieces for organizing a desktop. All of the components are made of anodized aluminum and have been designed to match the style of Apple's computers.

XtraLean Software has announced that it is currently holding its fifth-annual Father's Day Sale. Until June 21, customers can purchase ShutterBug and ImageWell at a price reduction of 50 percent. ShutterBug is a website creation tool with the ability to publish web albums and photo journals, or create online stores. The software includes a set of themes and templates that give users the ability to build a custom look with very little HTML knowledge. ImageWell is an image editor which includes tools for editing, cropping and resizing pictures. The discount brings the price of ShutterBug down to $20 while ImageWell is available for $10.

A new book has been release by TidBITS publishing which introduces readers to some of the new functions in Safari 4. "Take Control of Safari 4" is 92 pages long and geared for beginner and intermediate Mac users interested in learning about new Safari features such as Top Sites and history searching. The book also includes tips on how to organize a large number of bookmarks, automatically fill forms, keep track of passwords, and more. The book is available in either PDF of print form for $10 and $20, respectively.

Deskology has announced that it is relaunching its DESKSET accessory kit specifically designed for use alongside Mac computers. All of the accessories are constructed of anodized aluminum and feature very simplistic designs. The DESKSET includes four different items for organizing a desk, inbox tray, business card holder, pencil cup, and a doodad cup. The DESKSET sells for $189, including free shipping, and is expected to ship early in July.
