Storyist 2 released
Storyist Software has released V2 of Storyist, its flagship application used to help develop stories for novelists and screenplay writers. The new version introduces a new interface that includes a full screen mode, split views, and multiple windows. The update additionally includes 25 new features including a collage mode used to visualize relationships between elements of the writer's story. V2 features a color-coding outliner, support of comments and bookmarks, and an enhanced project manager.
Storyist 2 provides spelling and grammar checking as well as customizable story sheets used to track elements of the story. A page layout view is utilized and includes common writing tools such as headers, footers, and style sheets.
Storyist 2 requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 and can be purchased from the Storyist Software online store. The software is available as a digital download for $60 or as a box set that includes both a CD and a printed manual for $80.
