Touchgrind, Twittelator

  • Enigmo ($3) is a puzzle game based on the physics of falling water. The goal of the game is to redirect falling water droplets into designated containers using various pieces such as bumpers, sponges and sliders. Enigmo also features a built-in level editor which allows players to create their own levels and share them with others. The game includes 50 different levels and a recent update has added the ability to buy more from within the app.

  • Leaf Trombone: World Stage ($1) turns the iPhone and iPod touch into a musical instrument. Players can learn new songs by following a series of falling leaves that indicate which note to play. Pitches are played by sliding a leaf on the screen up and down and blowing into the microphone. A new Duet mode has been added which uses the new peer-to-peer capabilities to allow users to play songs together. The update also uses push notifications to let performers know of opportunities to judge friends and see results of their own performances.

  • Flick Fishing ($1) is a fishing game for the iPhone and iPod touch in which players flick their wrist to cast a fishing line and reel it in. The game features seven different locations to fish, from streams to oceans, and 14 tournaments for competition. The iPhone 3.0 firmware now allows users to buy an additional location which includes four brand new fish. Users can also now participate in a new multiplayer game, Fish Jack, where players try to catch fish up to a given target weight without exceeding it.

  • Touchgrind ($5) is a skateboarding game where players use their fingers to control the board. Different finger commands result in different tricks such as ollies, kickflips, and heelflips. The game includes 12 unlockable skateboards, each with their own abilities and three different game modes. A recent update also allows players to access their iTunes library from within the application and choose the music they want to be playing in the background.

  • Twittelator Pro ($5) is a mobile Twitter client with offline features for creating tweets while no active connection is available. The client also features the ability to upload pictures to different image-hosting services such as YFrog, TwitPic, Moby, and most recently, TweetPhoto. The most recent update includes cut, copy, and paste support and has also added a video section for iPhone 3G S users. The video section includes tools for recording, editing, and tweeting videos using the updated camera in the newest iPhone.
