ngmoco updates Topple 2, Star Defense for iPhone 3.0

Topple 2 and Star Defense
Coinciding with the iPhone 3.0 firmware release, ngmoco has updated several of its App Store titles: Topple 2 v1.3 and Star Defense v1.1. Both games take advantage of the new features enabled with the iPhone update. While playing Topple 2, users now have full control over iPod music playlists without leaving the app interface. The tracks can be accessed by pausing the game and going to the More Menu.
The Star Defense update allows players to expand campaigns or engage friends using a Direct Challenges feature. The challenges can now be sent via push notification over ngmoco's new Plus+ network, or using the previously-available methods including Twitter, Facebook or e-mail. A new planet has also been added to the challenge mode, while players can compare scores and ranks on live leader-boards.
Star Defense and Topple are available from the App Store for $6 and $3, respectively.
