Firefox bugs with networks

The recent Firefox 3.0.11 update is causing problems for many Mac users working with network-based home folders. Several bug reports indicate the browser is unable to locate the history or bookmarks, while the search field is inoperable and users cannot enter a URL into the access field. The problem reportedly affects both PPC- and Intel-based Macs.

To avoid the problem, users can either downgrade to Firefox 3.0.10 or switch to a local home folder. The issues have been fully disclosed on Mozilla's Bugzilla site, although it remains unknown how long the developers will take to fix the problem.
