DAZ 3D update improves lighting and camera tools

DAZ 3D updates released
DAZ 3D has released a new version of its flagship software, DAZ Studio 3. The application is used to design 3D models and features pre-rendered virtual animals, props, vehicles, people and environments. The application can also add lighting and shading to models. The update supports 64-bit systems, COLLADA import and export functions, figure mixing, and animation keyframe editing.
DAZ Studio 3 Advanced includes all the features of the basic version, but with Carrara compatibility. The Advanced version also utilizes multiple tools not featured in the basic version, along with enhanced OpenGL previews and compatibility with Pixar's RenderMan-compliant 3Delight rendering engine.
DAZ Studio 3 and DAZ Studio 3 Advanced require Mac OS X 10.4 and are both available from the DAZ 3D online store. The basic version is free while the Advanced variant costs $150.
