Olympus micro four thirds

One day ahead of its scheduled release, Olympus' EP-1 micro four thirds digital camera has been leaked. The camera is equipped with a 13-megapixel, 3 CCD sensor and can capture RAW images. It relies on an SD memory card for storage, and much like Panasonic's Lumix GH1 can shoot seven minutes of 720p video or else 14 minutes of 640x480 resolution video.

There is a live view feature that lets users compose images via the LCD screen as well as digital vibration reduction. There is an 11-point autofocus sensor while ISO sensitivity ranges between 200 and 6,400. Shutter speeds are adjustable between 60 and 1/4000 seconds.

The EP-1 should be available in white and black when it launches soon in Japan, with prices set at the equivalent of $917 for the body only or bundled with a lens for $1,222 to $1,324. Standalone lenses will be available, with a 17mm, F2.8 priced at $101 and a 14-42mm F3.6 costing $356. [via 4/3rumors]
