Hillcrest outs Loop mouse

Hillcrest Labs on Monday released its Loop pointer meant for users who connect their TV sets to a Mac or PC. Using an in-air pointing and motion control technology dubbed Freespace, the pointer lets users control an on-screen cursor without the need for a mouse and a surface. The controller otherwise has four buttons and a scroll wheel, and connects wirelessly over RF through a USB transceiver. Range is up to 30 feet and line-of-sight to the receiver is not required.

Hillcrest foresees its Loop for use by presenters and professors while in classrooms and conference halls when connected to PCs and Macs, as well as an auxiliary controller for the Kodak Theatre HD player as well as navigating the XMB interface on the PlayStation 3. The Loop is powered by two AA batteries, which are packed in the box.

The Hillcrest Loop is priced at $99 and now available at Amazon.

    Outs?

They outed it? I think it should have been able to choose the time of it's own coming out. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Seriously, though, the headline writers here choose some odd verbs.
