Scottsdale Quarter Apple Store set to open Friday

Apple has announced that its newest Apple Store, situated in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be opening at 6PM this Friday. The outlet will be Arizona's largest Apple Store, occupying nearly 10,000 square feet of the Outdoor Lifestyle Center in the Scottsdale Quarter. Store hours will be 10AM to 9PM Monday through Saturday, and 12PM to 6PM on Sundays.
The Outdoor Lifestyle Center opened on March 26th, with only two retailers occupying it at the time. There has been no clear indication from Apple on why its store is opening on a Friday, instead of the traditional Saturday morning. The first 1,000 visitors to the shop will however be given a free Apple t-shirt, as usual.
