  • RouteBuddy 2.5 ($100) is a GPS mapping utility for Mac OS X with the ability to analyze and create new routes and tracks from geo-data files. The software is able to transfer waypoint, route and track data to and from supported GPS units, which include most USGlobalSat, Garmin, TomTom, and NMEA Devices. The 2.5 update has added support for raster topographic maps which can be viewed side-by-side with vector-based road maps. The update has also improved compatibility with Google Earth and includes a free sample topographic map. [Download - 37.7MB]

  • Delicious Library 2.1 ($40) is a cataloging tool that allows users to easily create a database of all their belongings, and then view said database in a series of photorealistic shelves. Items can be entered manually or by using the built-in bar code scanner. The scanner uses a Mac's built-in webcam to read the bar code and the item is then searched for on the internet and added automatically if found. New to version 2.1 is the ability to publish a library directly to a website. Sites can be published to either a MobileMe site or an FTP site. The update also includes new item categories, new animations, and several other improvements and fixes. [Download - 15.8MB]

  • ProteMac Meter 2.7 ($30) is a network-traffic logging application that allows users to monitor all Internet and network activity. A stopwatch function can be used to time downloads and calculate average transfer rates. Users can also set alarms that will sound if the bandwidth or time limits have been exceeded by a particular application, or if a desired traffic volume has been reached. The new release has added Local Connection preferences and addressed numerous small bugs. [Download - 6.2MB]

  • iTube 1.0 (free) can be used to collect a list of a users favorite YouTube videos. As users find new videos they can add them to their favorites list by copying the URL and providing a title and star rating. Videos can then be played from within the application, each in its own window. Version 1.1 includes a new play count feature for tracking personal views of each video. [Download - 0.8MB]

  • Snapper 2.1 ($20) is a tool for capturing a movie of a computers desktop. The application includes options for setting the quality of the recorded video and also includes audio recording options. Version 2.1 is now able to record faster using the raw format and offers high-quality fullscreen recording. The documents built-in documentation has also been updated. [Download - 3.4MB]
