iLime cloud host announced

KeyLimeTie has announced iLime, a cloud hosting service aimed at reducing cost barriers for iPhone 3.0 developers. The service provides software APIs and hosting for push notifications, as well as on-demand content delivery and in-app purchases. The iLime infrastructure communicates with Apple's gateway server, managing all notifications sent between app providers and individual devices.

iLime is currently finishing the final phase of a private beta, but will be publicly launched later this month. Pricing will be announced along with the release of iLime.
