  • Forklift 1.7 ($45) is a file manager for Mac OS X that connects to FTP or SFTP servers and manages Amazon S3 accounts or mobile devices over Bluetooth. The update now allows users to create zip, pkzip, tar.gz, tar.bz2 and add password protection to zip archives. Forklift is also now able to initiate multi-threaded FXP transfers between FTP servers and includes several new options and small refinements. [Download - 5.4MB]

  • CosmoPod 3.0 ($12) is a Safari extension that can save web videos in iPod friendly formats. The applicatino can download most videos including FLV, WMV and DivX and export them to MPEG4 and H.264 encodings. The application can also convert any videos stored on a users hard drive to iPod friendly formats. Version 3.0 includes a new audio extraction feature which is capable of separating the audio track from most video files and converting it to an m4a file. The update also includes support for the Turbo.264 and Turbo.264 HD USB keys from Elgato along with other small improvements. [Download - 13.5MB]

  • expod 0.6 (free) is a tool for extracting songs from an iPod. The software can detect a connected iPod and then displays all tracks stored on it. Users can then select and non-DRM tracks to copy back to their computer. The new release has fixed a crash that was related to iTunes 8.2 and can also covert any colon characters in a filename to underscores. [Download - 0.4MB]

  • MovieChapterizer 3.0 ($15) enables users to add chapter markers to videos which are compatible with QuickTime. Users can add up to 100 chapter markers to a video by dragging the playhead slider to a desired location in the video and adding a name. Several minor changes have been made to the softwares interface, including the addition of an Open Recent Item menu option, a Time Remaining field, along with improvements to the Help window, and the overall readability of text.   • WhoPaste 1.2 ($10) is designed to extract contact information from web pages, e-mails, text documents, and spreadsheets, and then place the data into the appropriate fields in Address Book. Version 1.2 now supports direct contact and organization creation in Marketcircle's Daylite, a customer relationship management tool for the Macintosh. With version 1.2, Daylite users can specify a Category, multiple Keywords, a Priority, a Tagline and a Flag value for both the new Contact and the new Organization. [Download - 5.8MB]
