iPhone apps: DeepFish, Brain Exercise, StockWatch

  • DeepFish ($5) can be used to search through an IMAP-based email account. The application allows users to set up multiple IMAP accounts and then search through them individually, across folders, or through sub-folders. DeepFish is also able to search across the To, From, and Subject fields, as well as the entire message contents.

  • Brain Exercise ($6) combines a series of exercises that have been designed to test and stimulate the brain. Users can test their brain age and then use the mini games to help improve their results. Brain Exercise includes its own calendar which can be used to track progress and over time users can unlock new games as rewards for completing different stages. A full Sudoku game with three different difficulty levels has also been included.

  • StockWatch ($3) is a tool for tracking investments through the use of personalized watchlists and portfolios. The application is capable of creating an unlimited number of portfolios each which can contain an unlimited number of watchlists. After setting up their portfolios users can then up-to-date information on their current positions including gains, losses, prices, and costs.

  • iSoccer Backstreet ($2) is a soccer game which brings the sport into an urban environment. The game includes nine different levels that involve performing different body balancing, dribbling, and shooting tricks. The game includes more than a dozen freestyle tricks require quick reactions reflexes and coordination to perform. Players can also choose from six different characters and customize them with different clothing.

  • SafeKracka ($2) is a game where players attempt to guess combinations to different safes with only the owners name as a clue. The game includes 30 different safes based on historic, modern, and futuristic designs, each featuring a unique combination. The game does not have any time limits and allows users to progress through the safes in any order they choose. A Guest Mode has also been included which allows users to temporarily rest a game so a friend can test their skill.
