Boris FX Continuum Complete 6 AVX enters public beta

updated 06:55 pm EDT, Tue June 9, 2009

Continuum Complete 6 AVX

Boris FX has released a beta version of its video and film effects software, Boris Continuum Complete 6 AVX. The plug-in is used to add a host of approximately 200 filters to a variety of video editing programs, such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects, while still preserving After Effects keyframes. Notable additions to the beta include 15 new filters, along with the ability to restore and enhance images or generate 3D text animations.

The beta also includes custom animated presets that enable users to save and reuse parameter animations in each filter. The feature is also designed to work across different platforms and applications, allowing animations to be transfered between programs while maintaining keyframes. Additionally, the plug-in utilizes a custom preset navigation tool used to browse presets without opening a new window.

The public beta of Boris Continuum Compete 6 AVX is available from the Boris FX website for free. The full version is scheduled for release later this month.
