T-Mobile lists new iPhones
Indications of new iPhone hardware have surfaced on the Dutch T-Mobile activity system, according to iPhoneclub. The Dutch website says multiple tipsters have noticed the addition of new iPhones into the T-Mobile phone catalog, with at least one source providing an alleged screenshot. The image of the catalog lists both black and white models with 16GB and 32GB capacities, as well as two entries identified as "iPhone 2009 (NTB)" and "iPhone 3G 8GB Black V2." iPhoneclub suggests the images confirm T-Mobile will have exclusive rights to sell the iPhone in the Netherlands.
If genuine, the image corroborates claims that the new iPhone will receive a memory upgrade to 32GB, most likely because of developments in flash technology. The list also indicates the release of a new 8GB phone, which Apple would likely market as a cheaper alternative to the 16GB and 32GB variants.
The introduction of new iPhone hardware is anticipated at this week's WWDC, potentially alongside the iPhone 3.0 operating system.
