MacNN today obtained photos of the interior of the upcoming Ottawa Apple store believed in progress for August. The Rideau Centre location appears to be in mid-construction and already has some familiar elements of Apple stores, including the framework for the Genius Bar at the rear of the store as well as the wall displays. Compared to most Apple stores, the single-storey location is slightly larger than average.
Although the store still needs significant development before it opens, previous sources indicated Apple was readying the Ottawa location for an August opening, giving it a significant amount of time to complete the retail space. The store is the first in Ontario outside of the Greater Toronto Area.

Am I the only one who thinks this is totally absurd? Now, don't get me wrong. I love MacNN. I hit it every day. The writers are great. h***, I'd grease 'em up and ride 'em like a wild man for all the info they give me on my Mac, but to show a store that will someday open and offer photos of the studs where the drywall will hang, well, I guess I'm not into Macs THAT much!
Am I missing something here? Should I be that excited that a store will open in Ottawa and here are the metal studs to prove it.
