T-Mo Roadmap June 2009

A T-Mobile roadmap has leaked on Friday that shows a number of key devices, including the company's first venture into subsidized netbooks. Leading the list is the BlackBerry Gemini, also known as the Curve 8520; the optical trackpad replacement for the Curve 8300 is seen by Engadget as manufacturing approval on June 22nd and should ship sometime afterwards, though when that takes place isn't mentioned. It would come in black and "frost" (likely silver or white) colors.

In netbooks, an unspecified Dell model is due to ship to third parties on October 13th and T-Mobile's own stores on November 11th. Like offerings from AT&T and Verizon, it's expected to have built-in 3G and sell for a discount compared to the usual netbook asking price.

The list also has the Dash 3G, also known as the HTC Snap shipping on June 26th to third party retailers and July 1st for T-Mobile. Its version of the Touch Pro2 is also believed due on July 22nd. The myTouch 3G Android device is again listed as shipping on August 5th, though it's assumed this is now a pessimistic schedule given T-Mobile's early summer Android plans.

In addition to the smartphones and computers, a Huawei 3G data adapter known as the E1691 is scheduled to ship on November 17th; Nokia's 5130 XpressMusic is due on June 22nd, while Samsung's t749 Spark and t559 Comeback are both due on July 15th. Later in the year, T-Mobile should release the Samsung t469 Gravity 2 (August 5th) and t819 (September 2nd), both with 3G; Sony Ericsson's CS8 will be the last non-smartphone on the roadmap with an October 28th release date.
