FInale 2010 released

MakeMusic has released the newest version of Finale 2010, its software used to create sheet music and preview the music with audio synthesizers. The upgrade boasts better percussion instrument notation and the automated creation and sequencing of rehearsal marks. The update also claims simpler chord entry, requiring fewer keystrokes.

Finale 2010 also includes over 350 sounds provided by the makers of Garritan Personal Orchestra. The software also supports VST/AU effects and instrument plug-ins. The update additionally includes more than 350 worksheets.

Finale 2010 is immediately available from the MakeMusic website for $600. A package of five licenses costs $850 and upgrade pricing ranging between $120 and $170 depending on which version is being upgraded.
