Plasq has updated its digi

Plasq has updated its digital photo storytelling application, Comic Life Deluxe 1.5, with new drag-and-drop support and import capabilities. The application creates comic book pages featuring users' photos. Version 1.5 allows for creating single panel comics, using one photo to generate a single-panel page. Elements can be added with a click and pages can be duplicated quickly in the new update. Quick-comic creation now supports iPhoto events and comics can now be imported. Version 1.5 also adds a number of bug fixes including proper display of page numbers above 99 and proper balloon/caption expansion when using the Bigger toolbar button.

Comic Life Deluxe 1.5 allows users to integrate RSS feeds and other .Mac services, iPhoto images and iSight captures, in addition to importing images from a digital camera. It exports comics in Tiff, Jpeg and QuickTime formats, among others.

System requirements include a 400MHz or faster processor and Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher. Comic Life Deluxe costs $30.
