PhoneValet 6 boasts web browser functionality

PhoneValet 6 released
Parliant has updated its small-business phone software, PhoneValet 6. The application features an unlimited number of voice-mail boxes and automated dialing that coordinates with Address Book. Call blocking, recording, logging, and screening functions allow users to filter their calls and manage messages in a variety of ways. The software also features interactive voice response capabilities and e-mail notification of messages. The update enables the program to function with any web browser.
PhoneValet 6 allows for multiple users on the same network, working with an assortment of phone types -- single line analog phones, multi-line analog phones, or multi-lined, multi-handset cordless phone systems. The software is compatible with a mix of phone line technologies such as standard analog lines or VoIP communication.
PhoneValet 6 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 and is available from the Parliant online store for $170. Existing owners of PhoneValet can purchase the upgrade for $40, while additional packages can be added for $60.
