CompuShell notebook case
Radtech has expanded its line of laptop accessories with the CompuShell, a protective hard-shell case. Made from a heat-extracting aluminum, the case shields the notebook from scrapes and scratches while providing a 6.5mm bottom panel that channels air and helps keep the device cool. The case is capable of holding 15-inch or smaller notebooks, with space for the power supply and accessories such as a mouse or USB cable. The inside of the case is lined with cushioning for impact protection, while the outside locks with two steel-alloy latches for additional security.
The CompuShell allows the notebook to be used while remaining inside the case, without inhibiting access to the ports and drives. The case also provides two Kensington lock ports, a rotating ergonomic handle and a three-year warranty.
CompuShell is available directly from Radtech for $270, with either a graphite or flint finish. An STM shoulder strap can be added for $15.
