Screenium 1.2 update

Synium has released its screen-capturing software, Screenium 1.2, as a public beta with an enhanced interface and improved stability. The latest version now places all settings in the main window and includes a revamped preference dialog. A new level-meter can be used to monitor microphones and other audio inputs. The area selection now supports textual input for position and size, while highlighting the selected area with a red frame when recording in either the fixed-area mode or the mouse-area mode.

Screenium 1.2 supports English and German localizations and enables custom configuration of colors and fonts for the "hotkey" feature. The software allows users to capture live video from the Mac’s screen, with options to combine and mix voice-over from either a microphone or other audio device.

The latest update requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher and is available for free to current customers or users testing earlier beta versions. New customers can purchase Screenium 1.2 for $30 or download a free fully-functional time-unlimited demo that supports recordings up to 30-seconds.
