Space-In-Time released
TRI-EDRE has released the first public beta of Space-In-Time. The program is used to monitor a computer's disk data in order to understand which folders and files are taking up the most space. Space-In-Time records the space usage for each folder, while keeping a log of file values and totals.
The software can be set to alert users when file space is low, or when a folder has reached a predefined limit, by displaying a message on the screen or sending an e-mail. The file history can be used to trace content such as e-mails, music, images or movies.
The beta requires Mac OS X 10.5 and is available from the TRI-EDRE website for free. A full version of Space-In-Time will be available near the end of June, at which time the beta will expire.
