SendStation ships Adapters

SendStation Systems has released its newest iPod accessories, consisting of several Mini DisplayPort Adapters. Each device provides a small cord that can connect a user's computer to an external display, such as a television, projector or computer display. The external display can then be used to expand the computer's desktop area. The connector cord integrates a Mini DisplayPort socket on one end and, depending on the display used, either a DVI, HDMI, or VGA plug on the other end.

The Mini DisplayPort Adapters are all available through the SendStation Systems website. The HDMI and DVI cords each cost $23, while the VGA cord can be purchased for $25.

Wasn't that easy? All that hand-wringing over a new port and look, we can adapt away!

Shouldn't be needed.

Hmm..
At least one of these really should be free pack ins though. It's good they have shown up, but it's a sign of Apple being cheap, like when they stopped shipping a dock with your iPod. If you're spending $500 on a system you really shouldn't have to spend an extra $25 to connect it to your existing screen. The Mac Mini is sold as a tool for switchers so they can keep their old screen and monitor, not have to shell out extra to make them work with it.
I assume the HDMI adapter doesn't carry audio? Pity as if it did, it would have been very useful to those using a Mac Mini as a media centre.

Overall - nice they're here but they really shouldn't be necessary.
